Welcome to ThisVerify (the "Service"), operated by ThisVerify ("we", "us"). Use of the Service is subject to these terms. By registering or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
The Service provides automated analysis of documents (such as transfer confirmations, payment-app screenshots, bank statements, payslips and invoices) to identify signs of editing, fabrication or misleading presentation. Analysis combines file-structure and metadata checks, logical checks and AI models.
2. Nature of the results — please read
2.1. Results, including the risk score and findings, are an automated assessment to support decision-making only. They are not an expert opinion, admissible forensic evidence or a confirmation from the issuer. 2.2. The Service does not connect to banks or payment apps and does not confirm that money was actually transferred. 2.3. Results may be wrong — both false positives (a genuine document flagged) and false negatives (a forgery not detected). You are solely responsible for decisions made based on the results. When in doubt, confirm the document with its issuer. 2.4. Do not use results as the sole basis for a decision with legal or similarly significant effect on a person without human review.
3. Account
3.1. Provide accurate details and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity in your account. 3.2. We may suspend or close accounts used in breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
4. Uploads and authority
4.1. You confirm you have a lawful right to upload each document and to have it processed, including personal data of third parties it contains, for a legitimate purpose such as fraud prevention. 4.2. You grant us a limited licence to process documents to provide, secure and improve the Service, in line with the Privacy Policy.
5. Plans, quotas and payment
5.1. Usage is limited by your plan's monthly quota, which renews at the start of each calendar month and does not roll over. 5.2. Prices are in ILS excluding VAT unless stated otherwise. We may change prices with 30 days' notice. 5.3. A check that fails due to a Service error does not count against the quota. 5.4. Cancellation is subject to the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, where applicable. Business customers may cancel a monthly plan at any time, effective at the end of the billing period.
6. API
API keys are personal and confidential. Do not share them or embed them in client-side code. We may rate-limit requests to protect the Service.
7. Prohibited use
Do not use the Service to test or improve forgeries, bypass detection, reverse-engineer the Service, overload it, access others' data or compromise its security. See the Acceptable Use Policy.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, code, design, models and knowledge bases belong to us. Reports generated for you are yours to use.
9. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "AS IS". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages or lost profits, and our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the three months preceding the event.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be published or emailed at least 14 days before they take effect.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts of the Tel Aviv-Jaffa district have exclusive jurisdiction.
